Your baby’s sleep
At 5 months, your baby may be sleeping a little less during the day. Take advantage of their longer awake windows. Play with them and get outside when the weather permits. This stimulation can help them sleep better during naps and at night 🙂
If your baby is waking up multiple times during the night, you may want to evaluate their sleep routine. If they depend on rocking, feeding, and/or using a pacifier to fall asleep, they may have trouble settling on their own when they wake up. There’s nothing wrong with getting up to comfort them if you’re okay with it. If you prefer to sleep, you might want to consider finding a sleep training program that feels right to you.
